Come celebrate the end of summer with us as we fundraise for the Veterans and Family Assistance Center!! Enjoy some fun, food, and good times with some great people. Bring your cigars, lawn chair, and come unwind with us.

The VFAC hosts many community events throughout the year. Here are some highlights of our previous community engagements.
VFAC Fundraising Gala
In 2023, the VFAC began hosting our annual fundraiser to raise support for Tranquility Gardens and all the community events we have been slowly building. We're dedicated to helping not only veterans and their families, but also communities throughout Columbus, Georgia.
Veteran Fishing Trip
Throughout the spring and summer, we host fishing trips for veterans and their families. These trips are meant to be a lifeline for veterans struggling with their mental health. We wanted to connect veterans with a community who understands them and encourage them to get outside. Most trips include a certified counselor for veterans who wish to seek professional advice.
Clothing Drive
We are proud to be partnered with JD Davis Elementary School in Columbus, GA. In the past we have held food drives and provided school supplies, but 2024 is our first year conducting a clothing drive for the students and surrounding community.
Women's Veterans Luncheon
We hosted a luncheon at Tranquility Gardens to honor the women who have served our country. We had a group of veteran women come join us for food, fellowship, and celebration for the upcoming year.
We are a 501 (C)(3)non-profit organization that serves veterans of all conflicts and eras by providing a comprehensive and holistic approach in assisting Veterans and their families to improve their quality of life and to reach their optimal potential.
